Homeland Security Adviser: Trump Should Seek Opportunities to Partner With Putin

Via Billy

Asked for his reaction to President Trump’s tweets dumping on CNN, NBC and the liberal media in general, Bossert said cable news shows are “not always very fair to the president.”

“So I'm proud of the president for developing a Twitter and a social media platform where he can talk directly to the American people. In fact, he's the most genuine president and the most non-politician president that we've seen in my lifetime. And he's demonstrated -- whatever the content of that particular tweet is or any tweet, he's demonstrated a genuine ability to communicate to the people.”

President Trump is expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin later this week week at a G-20 leaders’ summit in Hamburg, Germany.

Tom Bossert, President Trump's homeland security and counterterrorism adviser, said on Sunday that arrangements for the meeting are still being worked out:

“We've got two of the world's largest superpowers being in the same place at the same time,” Bossert told ABC’s “This Week.”

  1. Again, it is telling that so many wanted to cozy up to Russia when the communists and bent on world domination were in charge, but now they have a President who is a nationalist, calling his people back to the Christian faith, protecting Christian Churches, and attacking the real terrorists, they want nothing to do with him.

So if one agrees with the above then it is obvious President Trump should be seeking closer relations.

Let us also remember Mr. Putin was the first world leader to contact President Bush after the 9/11 attack and offer the use of Russian airfields to exact justice upon those involved.

    Y'all have a nice day.

    1. Thanks and I have a lot more in common with the average Russian citizen than whoever would be defined as the average liberal here. Actually, I should say any liberal here.
