Legal Update: The date for the Demurrer Hearing has been set: August 30, 2017. A demurrer is a motion to dismiss; the City is attempting to dismiss our lawsuit so that it may proceed with its plan to sell the 93-year-old R.E. Lee Monument - a Registered Historic Landmark. If the City is unsuccessful on August 30, then the court date will be scheduled and both sides will present their respective arguments.
